Skills Program Teacher

Abby Toigo is one of the teachers in the Skills Program at SLC. Abby has a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation services and is certified in NH General Special Education (K-12). Abby began working at SLC in August 2012.

Co- Director / Therapist for Seacoast Academy

Mrs. Harris has been employed at SLC since 1997. She has her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Post Graduate Certificate in Existential Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and is nearing the completion of her Master's Degree in Social Work. Mrs. Harris is trained in the Life Centered Education Curriculum and is certified as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.

Speech and Language Pathologist

Anne Eiseman is a Speech and Language Pathologist who is contracted through Strafford Learning Center. Mrs. Eisemann has been providing speech services at SLC.

Special Education

Annette Levis is a Special Education Teacher in her 9th year at SLC. MS. Levis works in the Middle School program. Ms. Levis is certified in Elementary Education, General Special Education and has an endorsement in Emotional Disability.

Paraprofessional

Lance Ard is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Lance has an associate’s degree in sports and recreation students and has his paraprofessional II NH certification. Lance began working at SLC in September 2006.

Ashley Goodick is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Ashley plans to take classes online in education sometime in the future. Ashley began working at SLC in March 2009.

Paraprofessional

Mike Perry is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Mike has his paraprofessional I NH certification and a certificate in Special Education. Mike joined SLC in 2009.

Cody was hired in September of 2014 as a counselor in th high school program, Seacoast Academy. She has her Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work. She has worked in a number of settings supporting the mental health needs of children and adolescents and has worked as a Clinical Social Worker for the last two years in a school setting.

High School Teacher

Mr. Sinkewich was hired in 2000. He has his certification in History and General Special Education. In addition to teaching, Mr. Sinkewich coordinates SLC's student council program and he coordinates Seacoast Academy's Yearbook.

Math Teacher

Ms. Garman is certified in Math and General Special Education. Ms. Garman was hired in 2011.

Paraprofessional

Debbie Samoisette is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Debbie has 12 credits towards early childhood and special education. Debbie began working at SLC in December 2012.

Co-Director

Patrice Chandler is one of the Co-Directors at SLC. She has a Bachelor‘s degree in Sociology with minor in Social Work and a Masters in Human Service Administration. Mrs. Chandler is Certified as a General Special Educator and as Special Education Administrator. She is in her 12th year at SLC.

Teacher Assistant

Denise McCarthy is a Teacher Assistant in her 10th year at SLC. Denise has worked in all programs throughout campus.

Paraprofessional

Patrick O’Keefe is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Patrick has is bachelor’s degree in business communication and is has his paraprofessional II NH certification. Patrick has worked at SLC since January 2010.

Paraprofessional

Donna Walsh is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Donna has worked at SLC since 1988. She has worked in all programs on campus throughout her years at SLC.

Transportation

Raelene was hired in 1993 as a school bus driver. She drove a bus for 7 years before transitioning into the office. She has worked as our program secretary for the last 14 years.

LICSW –Therapist and ABLE Coordinator

Mr. Snow was hired in 2001. Mr. Snow is a licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has over 300 hours of Challenge Course Experience.

English and LCE Teacher

Mrs. Brown was hired in 2007. Ms. Brown has her Master's Degree in Special Education and is Highly Qualified in English Secondary Education. She is also trained in the implementation of Life Centered Education. She is currently working on her Master's Degree in Psychology.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Jen Martin is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in her 4th year at SLC as the Elementary Counselor. Ms. Martin has a Masters in Social Work.

Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Jim Civiello is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in his 2nd year at SLC as the Middle School counselor. Mr. Civiello has a Masters in School Counseling. He has over 15 years’ experience working as a counselor in various settings.

Occupational Therapist

Tere Bowen Irish is an Occupational Therapist who has been consulting with SLC. Ms. Irish was the New Hampshire OT of the Year in 2012.

High School Teacher / Curriculum Coordinator.

Mr. Les has been employed at SLC since 1999. He is certified in Science and General Special Education.

Paraprofessional

Tyler Shute is a paraprofessional in the Skills Program at SLC. Tyler has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and is pursuing certification in P.E. and special education. Tyler runs weekly P.E. classes for students in the Skills program, elementary and middle school programs. Tyler started working at SLC in January 2011.

Paraprofessional

Mr. Hayner was hired in 2009. He has his B.S. in Tourism and Development and Planning. He is trained in Project Adventure and facilitates groups for SLC in addition to outside groups.

Paraprofessional

Weston is a 2006 graduate of Keene State College where he received his BS in Environmental Sciences and a minor in Writing. From 2010-2013, Weston worked as a Certified Para-educator II in both SLC’s Skills I and II Programs. After a brief leave, Weston returned to SLC with endorsements form the NH Board of Education to teach Earth and Life Science at the high school level. Weston is currently working at the high school program in a dual capacity as a Teacher and Para-educator. He is currently teaching Creative Writing and Earth Science.

Special Education

Julia Kelly is a Special Education Teacher in her 4th year at SLC. Mrs. Kelly works in the Middle School program. She has a Masters in Elementary Ed and is seeking certification as a General Special Educator through the Alternative 4 process.
