Skills Program

The Developmental Disabilities Program at Seacoast Learning Collaborative provides a highly structured

full day program for students in kindergarten (age 5) through age 21 who have been diagnosed with various developmental disabilities. SLC's mission is to recognize, embrace, and build upon the unique qualities, abilities, and potentials that exist within all students. Students' programs are individualized to meet each student's individual academic, social, behavioral, and emotional needs. The goal of the program is to focus on the development of functional life skills, communication skills, academic skills, and daily living skills to encourage a student's independence and, to the best of his/her ability, live a fulfilling and productive life.
